About Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MoECST) is charged with ensuring that all Belizeans are given an opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for personal development and full, active participation in the development of the nation. The Ministry oversees Belize's education system from early childhood through tertiary level, including curriculum development, teacher training, and national assessments.
