The Social Security Board (SSB) is a statutory corporation of Belize established in 1981 under the Social Security Act. It administers the country's Social Security Fund, delivering a comprehensive social insurance programme that protects Belizeans from the womb to the tomb. Through nine branch offices and a sub-office nationwide, SSB provides retirement, disability, survivors', and health-related benefits to contributors and their families.
